Ideal for Corporate or Group Functions, Birthdays, Engagements, Weddings, Fundraisers or any other special occasion. Avalon Beach RSL Club will take the worry out of your big night and we will cater for your specific needs.

This information is provided as a guide for you, so please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, we are happy to assist you with the organising of your night. The Club asks that the person making the booking be a financial member. Number of guests, menu, DJ etc to be finalised at least one week prior to your function.

Minimum Booking

50 persons minimum for Buffet & Table Service functions. All food must be purchased from the Club, except cakes for birthdays and special occasions.

Room Hire

A deposit of $200 will be required, which will be refunded the day after the function. The person booking the function or a representative must be at the function until the end of the evening.

Seating Capacity & Arrangements

The upstairs function room has a seating capacity for 200 persons. The tables are set for up to ten to twelve persons per table, however arrangements can be made regarding the set up of the room when you make your booking.

The room can cater for up to 400 persons for a party.

Live Music & D.J’s

Live music, bands or other entertainment can be booked or we can assist you with the bookings. All bands must be off stage by 11.45 pm. Payment for bands must be made 14 days prior to the night and is non refundable unless the act booked cancels. D.J’s are available for function bookings. The cost will depend on the number of hours required. $275 for a 4-hour package. You can request specific styles of music to suit your function.

A microphone is available to you for presentations or speeches if required.

Beverages

Most packaged beer and spirits are available. A selection of wines can be made from our wine list and these selected wines and a wine list specifically for you function will be designed. House wine by the glass or bottle. All beverages for your function will be at club prices, and a “dry till’ will be organised for you if required.

Our chefs’ are able to cater for any of your requirements, and you can mix and match any of our set menus to suit your tastes if you wish.

We can also assist you in selecting your menu, to best cater for your function and your budget.
